Lonnie's interest in the elevator world led to a 30 year career, and the inception of Abco Elevator, which recently won a Safety Leadership award.
Through Abco, Lonnie created a private Industry Training School in Regina. UpLift can provide certification for elevator entrapment training, and learners may qualify for the ReSkill Saskatchewan Grant.
Lonnie realizes safety is a core value for workplaces. He successfully earned his Nathional Construction Safety Officer designation.
Lonnie trained and served as a First Responder, which gives him a unique perspective on how to approach elevator entrapment.
Having published several books, Lonnie knows the value of being able to engage an audience. He took this awareness into consideration while developing RET.
One of Lonnie's main interests is growth and learning. Whether at work or at home, you can find Lonnie's inquisitive mind absorbing new knowledge and putting it to use. His active interest in this area led him to share his knowledge in RET.
